Foundations of Mediumship

Service Description

This four-week introductory course is designed to provide a grounded foundation in mediumship development. Students will learn the importance of Sitting in the Power as a core practice, along with developing awareness, sensitivity, and trust in their own intuitive and perceptual abilities. The course will introduce the basic mechanics of mediumship, including the role of the imagination, the development of the “clairs” (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience), and the importance of self-awareness and emotional stability in spiritual work. Each class will include guided practice, experiential exercises, and opportunities to begin working with subtle impressions in a supportive aAll are welcome. Mary Lucille Glynn is a Spiritualist Minister ordained at The Journey Within Church in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, and a member of the Church of the Living Spirit in Lily Dale, New York. She is also a frequent attendee at the First Spiritualist Church of Quincy. Mary is an evidential medium with an extensive background in psychotherapy, grief and loss, transitions, social work, therapeutic massage, natural healing, and energy-based practices. She is also a certified Mindfulness Focusing Trainer. Her awareness of the spirit world began in early childhood following the passing of her father, and over time she developed her mediumship through dedicated study, meditation, and spiritual practice. Mary has studied at Arthur Findlay College in England and Lily Dale Assembly in New York, and has spent over 40 years developing and working with mediumship. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has worked as a psychotherapist, with a focus on neurodivergent individuals. Her current work centers on end-of-life care, grief and loss, spiritual healing, and mediumship. Mary is the founder of Many Roads Wellbeing, based in Harwich, Massachusetts—reflecting her belief that there are many roads to the self, and many roads to the source. This price includes all 4 classes. While this is a fundraiser for VoL, we don't want the cost of the class to be a barrier to inclusion.
